ClickFunnels Review 2026: What Launch, Scale and Optimize Really Cost, Why the Trial Buttons Now Give 7 Days Instead of 14, and Where the Refund Promise and the Terms Part Ways
ClickFunnels is a hosted platform for building sales funnels: landing pages, checkouts with one-click upsells, email, courses, a simple CRM and, since June 2026, an AI assistant that drafts a whole funnel from a conversation. On clickfunnels.com/pricing as of Oct 26, 2026, Launch costs $97 a month or $970 a year, Scale $197 or $1,970, Optimize $297 or $2,970, and Dominate $5,997 a year with no monthly option. Three details matter before you click Start Free Trial. The trial buttons on the home and pricing pages now open a checkout that says 7 days free, while the help center and the pricing page's own description still promise 14. The pricing page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, yet the Terms of Service say monthly subscribers are not entitled to any refund. And the $97 entry plan now includes 1 workspace and 10,000 contacts, where the $97 Startup plan of June 2025 listed 3 workspaces and unlimited contacts.

| Made by | Etison LLC, doing business as ClickFunnels, Canton, Georgia, United States |
| What it is | A hosted funnel builder with checkout, email, courses, CRM, automations and an AI funnel assistant |
| Plans | Launch $97; Scale $197; Optimize $297 a month, or $970, $1,970 and $2,970 a year; Dominate $5,997 a year |
| Limits | 10K, 75K, 150K or 400K contacts; 1, 5, 10 or 20 workspaces; funnels unlimited for a stated limited time |
| Best for | Course creators, coaches and info-product sellers who want pages, checkout, upsells and email in one account |
ClickFunnels sells a broad funnel toolkit at a mid-range price, but its trial, refund and cancellation rules need more care than its buttons suggest.
“7 days free from today, then just $197/month (plus applicable taxes).”
That line sits at the bottom of the checkout behind the main Try for Free button on clickfunnels.com, as of Oct 26, 2026. It is a different offer from the one the rest of the site describes. The pricing page's own description and FAQ data and the help center all speak of a 14-day trial, and the help center adds that you can try ClickFunnels risk-free for 44 days, counting 14 trial days and a 30-day money-back guarantee. A 14-day checkout still exists at its own address, but the trial buttons shown on the home and pricing pages all lead to the 7-day one. The main button also starts you on Scale at $197 a month, not on the $97 Launch plan.
What you get for the money is broad. According to the plan cards and app pages, every plan includes the drag-and-drop funnel editor and checkout with order bumps and one-click upsells, email, courses, automations, a shared inbox and hosting, and ClickFunnels takes no percentage of your sales. Build with AI, documented in the help center since Jun 16, 2026, drafts a full funnel with copy and images from a description of your business. A new MCP server, documented since Feb 13, 2026, lets Claude or ChatGPT build funnels, courses and products in your workspaces. Scale adds API access, webhooks and a custom code editor.
The weaker side is in the paperwork and the limits. The Terms of Service of Jan 18, 2026 require 10 days' notice before a monthly renewal, say monthly subscribers are not entitled to any refund, give annual subscribers a credit rather than a refund, and send disputes to confidential arbitration in Idaho. Cancelling through the dashboard ends with a button labelled Cancel My Account & Delete All My Content. And while the price of the entry plan has stayed at $97 since June 2024, what it includes has shrunk: 1 workspace instead of 3, 2 team members instead of 3, and 10,000 contacts instead of unlimited.
One account, several workspaces, and a set of apps that turn a visitor into a buyer, then into a repeat buyer.
ClickFunnels is organized around workspaces, which ClickFunnels' help center describes as one business each. Inside a workspace you build funnels (a series of pages that lead to an opt-in or a purchase), sell products through its checkout, send email, run courses and a community, book appointments and track deals. The home page describes the idea as five stages: attract, sell, upsell, ascend and repeat. Your plan sets the pools: workspaces, team members, contacts, emails a month, courses, domains and AI words. The company behind it is Etison LLC, which does business as ClickFunnels from Canton, Georgia. The older platform, now called ClickFunnels Classic, still runs as a separate product with its own login and help center, and the help center says its funnels cannot be moved to the current platform.

Three plan line-ups in two years, a lost patent case, an AI builder, an MCP server and a shorter trial behind the visible buttons.
ClickFunnels does not publish a dated price history on its pricing page, but its help center and the Internet Archive's copies of clickfunnels.com/pricing together give a clear sequence. The help center dates the current line-up to June 2025; the first archived copy showing it is from Jul 2, 2025.
| Date | What happened | Source |
|---|---|---|

The entry plan change matters to every new buyer. The price has held at $97 a month since June 2024, but the allowance behind it has not. Comparing the archived copy of Jun 1, 2025 with today's page, the $97 plan went from 3 brand workspaces, 3 team members, unlimited contacts, unlimited courses and unlimited domains to 1 workspace, 2 team members, 10,000 contacts, 3 courses and 5 custom domains. Against the Basic plan of March 2024, which listed 1 website, 20 funnels, 3 users, 1 domain and 10,000 contacts for $147 a month, today's Launch costs $50 less a month (34.0% less) for the same 10,000 contacts, more funnels and domains, and one user fewer. In short, the cheapest plan has meant three different bundles since early 2024, so compare limits rather than prices alone. Legacy subscribers keep their old plans and limits, according to the help center, but cannot return to them after changing plans.

A well-known name with large but undefined user counts, a private owner and a recent courtroom loss to a rival.
Etison LLC is privately held, so there are no audited revenue or customer figures. What is public is a handful of counts from ClickFunnels' own pages, one archived review profile and two court opinions. Read each with its definition.
| Signal | Value | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| ClickFunnels users | 100K+ | Claim on the home and pricing pages, Oct 26, 2026; the pages do not say whether users are paying accounts or people |
| Sales funnels created | 1M+ | Same pages; funnels ever created, not funnels live today |
| Official Facebook group | 300,000+ members | Help center home page; group members are not customers |
| G2 rating | 4.6 from 417 reviews | G2's ClickFunnels page as saved by the Internet Archive on Oct 13, 2026; profile claimed by ClickFunnels; some reviews marked incentivized |
| GetApp rating | 4.5 from 666 reviews | GetApp's ClickFunnels page as saved by the Internet Archive on Jun 14, 2026; value for money 4.1 |
| Who reviews it on G2 | 396 of 417 from businesses with 50 or fewer staff | Same copy; 303 reviewers in North America |
| Patents | 3 listed; 2 held invalid | ClickFunnels' patent page; District of Delaware, Mar 31, 2025; Federal Circuit, Jul 2, 2026 |
The court case says something about the market. ClickFunnels sued HighLevel, an all-in-one rival, for infringing two patents on a website creation system for directional sales pages. The District of Delaware dismissed the case on Mar 31, 2025, holding all claims invalid as directed to an abstract idea, and on Jul 2, 2026 the Federal Circuit affirmed in a nonprecedential opinion. The appeals court found one procedural error but called it harmless: “Nevertheless, we agree with the district court that all of the claims are invalid, rendering any error harmless.” ClickFunnels' patent marking page, as of Oct 26, 2026, still lists both patent numbers alongside a third.

Mostly happy small businesses on G2, a vocal group of long-time users who feel the new platform let them down, and a public wish list.
G2's ClickFunnels page, as saved by the Internet Archive on Oct 13, 2026, shows 4.6 out of 5 from 417 reviews: 338 five-star, 53 four-star, 15 three-star, 1 two-star and 10 one-star. That is 93.8% at four or five stars and 2.6% at one or two. G2's own summary says users praise ease of use and training, while “some users note that the pricing can be high, especially for beginners.” Two cautions apply. The profile is claimed by ClickFunnels, and several recent reviews carry G2's incentivized or seller-invitation labels. We have not reviewed other review-site profiles for this article beyond G2 and GetApp.
GetApp, another business software review site, tells a similar story. Its ClickFunnels page, as saved by the Internet Archive on Jun 14, 2026, shows 4.5 out of 5 from 666 verified reviews, with value for money the lowest of its sub-scores at 4.1, and splits the reviews into 472 five-star, 169 three- or four-star and 25 one- or two-star. Its summary, generated from those reviews, says: “Users say the pricing is high compared to competitors, and some feel customer support is slow or lacking, especially at lower tiers.”
“CF 2.0 is a wonderful idea, with a terrible implementation.”
A subscriber since the 2022 launch who says projects outside a simple sales funnel still need other tools, and is moving to a competitor.
“AI and automation features are fairly limited compared to newer platforms, so a lot of optimization still has to be done manually.”
A five-star review that praises the landing page, checkout and upsell flow, with this caveat.
“Costs increase quickly as soon as you need advanced features, making it less accessible compared to modular stacks”
Price comes up in at least four of the ten reviews on the archived page.
“it doesn't offer many integrations with payment gateways in Latin America”
ClickFunnels' help center adds that each workspace can operate in only one currency.
“Click Funnels is abusing all trust placed by their early adopters.”
An early Funnel Hacker buyer who says the plan's 10 workspaces became 3 while prices for new users fell.
“Every marketer I know switched from ClickFunnels (reviewed in article) to High Level.”
One person's circle, not a survey, but it matches the rivalry the court case shows.
ClickFunnels also runs a public feedback board where customers vote on feature requests. Sorted by votes on Oct 26, 2026, the top ten are mostly gaps a course or membership seller would notice: using uploaded videos in video elements, connecting a domain without www, customizable login pages, mobile apps for the customer center, more than one language per page, drip-released lessons, and native live and automated webinars. One of the ten, connecting a bare domain, is marked Not Planned.

What makes people buy, from ClickFunnels' pages and the positive reviews: pages, checkout, upsells, email and courses in one login, templates that get a first funnel live quickly, and no cut of sales. What makes people complain or leave, from the reviews and the feedback board: the price as soon as you need more than the basics, long-time Classic users who found the rebuilt platform slower or more limited, and missing pieces for course sellers such as native webinars and drip lessons.
Three plans from $97 a month, a $5,997 yearly plan, and a 16.7% saving for paying a year upfront.
All prices are in US dollars from clickfunnels.com/pricing on Oct 26, 2026, viewed from Vietnam. The Terms say all advertised prices and payments are in US dollars, the Internet Archive's copy of the page from Oct 19, 2026 shows the same prices and limits, and the help center's pricing article, updated Oct 12, 2026, lists the same yearly totals. Yearly billing on Launch, Scale and Optimize costs ten times the monthly price, a 16.7% saving that the page shows as $81, $164 and $248 a month.

- 3 hours of private onboarding
Every plan lists unlimited funnels with the words “Limited Time”, unlimited visitors and group onboarding calls, and the pricing FAQ says ClickFunnels does not take a percentage of your sales. The “Limited Time” label has been on the page since at least the Jul 2, 2025 archived copy, 481 days before Oct 26, 2026, and no end date is given. If you downgrade, the help center says existing content stays but you cannot create more until you are back within the new limits.

From the plan cards on clickfunnels.com/pricing and the help center's pricing article (updated Oct 12, 2026), Oct 26, 2026. The page also contains a longer plan comparison table, but its own style settings hide it from visitors, so it is not used here.

What a year costs on each plan, what each 1,000 contacts costs, and the fees that sit outside the plan price.
Contacts are a limit worth watching closely, because every opt-in becomes one. Dividing each plan's price by its contact allowance shows how steeply the entry plan is priced against the others.
| Plan | One year, yearly billing | One year, monthly billing | Per 1,000 contacts a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $970 | $1,164 | $9.70 monthly, $8.08 yearly |
| Scale | $1,970 | $2,364 | $2.63 monthly, $2.19 yearly |
| Optimize | $2,970 | $3,564 | $1.98 monthly, $1.65 yearly |
| Dominate | $5,997 | Not offered | $1.25 |
JAVIS calculation from clickfunnels.com/pricing, Oct 26, 2026: plan price divided by contacts in thousands.
What the numbers say. Launch costs about 3.7 times more per contact than Scale on monthly billing ($9.70 against $2.63), so a list that grows past 10,000 contacts pushes you to Scale quickly, and the step from $97 to $197 is $1,200 a year on monthly billing. Scale is also the lowest plan with API access and webhooks, which many integrations need. Dominate costs 2.02 times Optimize's yearly price ($5,997 against $2,970, or $3,027 more) for twice the workspaces and seats, 2.67 times the contacts, SSO and private onboarding.
Fees outside the plan price. Payments go through Payments AI, ClickFunnels' recommended gateway layer, or a Stripe account connected through it; a direct Stripe connection is available on request. ClickFunnels' help article lists “Standard Stripe Fees (2.9% + $0.30)” and says ClickFunnels adds nothing on top, and Stripe's own US pricing page shows the same 2.9% + 30¢ for domestic cards, which is $3.20 on a $100 sale. Payments AI's public pricing page, for its merchant-of-record product, lists 2.7% + $0.30 plus separate charges such as 0.5% for billing and $15.00 per dispute; ask which product your workspace uses. If you want a break instead of cancelling, the help center's Pause plan costs $17 a month, $204 over a year, and switches off your funnels and courses for you and your customers. The checkout also offers a one-time add-on of 20+ ready-made funnels for $47, shown against a struck-through $197. Finally, the help article comparing legacy and current plans lists usage charges, such as $0.675 per 1,000 emails sent and $0.01 per integration run, under a heading that says they apply on all plans, though it sits in the legacy section; the current pricing page lists monthly email allowances instead and does not mention them, so ask support which applies to your account.

Three setups, one year each. A solo coach with one offer and fewer than 10,000 contacts pays $970 on Launch yearly or $1,164 monthly. A small team with three brands that needs webhooks and API access pays $1,970 on Scale yearly or $2,364 monthly. A marketer running ten workspaces pays $2,970 on Optimize yearly or $3,564 monthly. Card fees come on top of every one of these.
Trial, cancellation, refunds and disputes: the exact rules.
These come from ClickFunnels' Terms of Service, last updated Jan 18, 2026, and from its help center, quoted word for word. The Terms apply to businesses run by adults; they open by saying they include an arbitration clause and a class action waiver.

| Topic | Exact wording | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Trial reminder | “ClickFunnels will email a reminder that your trial is ending at least 7 days prior to you being charged.” | On a 7-day trial that reminder can arrive on day one; do not wait for it. |
| Trial end | “If you do not contact us at least 24 hours before your free trial period ends to cancel, your subscription will automatically continue” | Cancel by day 6 of a 7-day trial, or day 13 of a 14-day one. |
| Monthly notice | “For monthly subscriptions (including subscriptions for services), we require at least ten (10) days’ notice of cancellation by email.” | Cancel at least 10 days before the next billing date or you may pay another month. |
| Monthly refunds | “You will not be entitled to prorate your last month’s use, nor will you be entitled to any refund for any payments to ClickFunnels.” | This is the Terms' rule; the 30-day guarantee on the pricing page is not written into them (section 09). |
| Yearly plans | “If you cancel before the end of your year, you will not be entitled to a refund but we will provide you with a credit towards other ClickFunnels’ subscription services.” | A yearly plan is money you will spend with ClickFunnels either way. |
| Cancellation fee | “ClickFunnels in its sole discretion may charge a cancellation fee equal to the amount the subscription was discounted.” | Discounted deals can carry a clawback when you leave. |
| Ongoing billing | “ClickFunnels will bill you for your selected subscription indefinitely until you take all necessary steps to complete the cancellation of such subscription.” | Finish every step of the cancellation flow and keep the confirmation. |
| Price changes | “Price changes are effective on the first day of the month after the price change is posted.” | Existing subscribers get an email notice and the option to cancel. |
| Disputes | “ARBITRATION IS MANDATORY AND IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY AND ALL DISPUTES” | Confidential, individual arbitration in Ada County, Idaho, under Idaho law; claims within 1 year; no class actions. |
Two more limits are worth knowing. ClickFunnels' liability is capped at three times what you paid in the month before a claim or $2,000, whichever is greater; on any monthly plan three months' fees ($291 to $891) are below $2,000, so the $2,000 floor applies. And if a payment fails, the Terms let ClickFunnels charge a lower amount to pause your account while it asks for a new card.

Cancelling deletes your work. The help center's cancellation guide, updated Oct 12, 2026, warns that cancelling “will deactivate any active funnels and remove access to the platform’s features”, and its final confirmation button reads “Cancel My Account & Delete All My Content”. It adds two cautions sellers often miss: withdraw any funds from Payments AI first, because “You will not be able to log in to your Payments AI account once you cancel your ClickFunnels subscription”, and stop your own customers' subscriptions, because “Otherwise, they will continue to be charged.” Export your contacts before you go: the help center's export guide, updated Sep 30, 2026, lets you choose fields such as email, phone, tags and lifetime value and download the file. Help articles also cover exporting orders and products.

Ten places where two ClickFunnels pages give different answers, starting with how long the trial is and whether you can get your money back.
The biggest gap is the refund. The pricing page FAQ says: “Yes, we have a 30-day money back guarantee.” It continues that ClickFunnels will “happily cancel your account during that window of time without any penalties or fees”, which describes a cancellation, not a refund. The checkout repeats “30-day money back GUARANTEE after your trial ends”. The help center's refund article says you “can reach out to us within 30 days of your purchase” but that “Refunds are subject to the Terms of Service applicable to the product or service you have purchased.” And the Terms say “All sales are deemed final except as provided in Section 6 of these Terms”, where Section 6 covers physical goods such as books. If the guarantee matters to you, ask support to confirm it in writing before you pay.
| Topic | One page says | Another page says |
|---|---|---|
| Trial length | Every trial button on the home and pricing pages: 7 days free | Pricing page description and FAQ data, help center: 14 days |
| Risk-free period | Help center: 44 days (14-day trial plus 30-day guarantee) | With the 7-day checkout, the same sum is 37 days |
| Refunds, monthly | Pricing page and checkout: 30-day money-back guarantee | Terms: no refund for any payments; all sales final except physical goods |
| Refunds, yearly | Checkout for yearly plans: 30-day money-back guarantee after the trial | Terms: no refund, a credit toward other ClickFunnels services |
| Trial reminder | Terms: a reminder email at least 7 days before you are charged | 7-day checkout: the first charge comes 7 days after you sign up |
| Unlimited funnels | Every plan: unlimited funnels, “Limited Time” | No end date; on the page since at least Jul 2, 2025 |
| Number of plans | Classic help center (Apr 15, 2026): “three pricing tiers” | Same article lists a fourth, Dominate, and says a retired Funnel Hacker plan gives three workspaces |
| Address | Terms and privacy policy: Canton, Georgia | Classic help center footer: Eagle, Idaho |
| Patents | Patent marking page lists US 10,846,357 and 11,361,047 | Federal Circuit, Jul 2, 2026: all claims of both patents invalid |
| Selling data | Privacy policy: “We do not sell or rent your personal information” | Same policy: sharing data with advertising and analytics cookie providers may count as a sale under US state privacy laws |

Big results in the testimonials, careful disclaimers in the legal text: read both.
ClickFunnels has long been marketed with stories of fast results, and that has drawn criticism over the years. Here we report only what ClickFunnels' own pages show as of Oct 26, 2026. The home page headline reads “You’re one funnel away from” and then types out 19 rotating endings, among them “your first $10k month”, “scaling to 7 figures”, “quitting your day job”, “passive income streams” and “6-figure course sales”. The home and pricing pages also carry customer testimonials such as “I wouldn’t even say it 10x’d, it 20x, 30x’d our business” and “our family made more money in 1 day than we had ever made before”. Etison LLC, the company behind ClickFunnels, also runs a free five-day challenge on onecommaclub.com for people who have never made a sale online, and that page says “The 'One Comma Club Challenge' Is The Fastest Path To Earning Your One Comma Club Award In As Little As 5 Days!”
The legal text says something more modest. Section 11 of the Terms states that ClickFunnels does not make earnings or return-on-investment claims and that “it is possible that you will not earn your investment back.” Section 15 says testimonials “do not necessarily reflect the experience that you and your business may have using our services or products.” The challenge page's own footnote says: “We do not make income claims and we cannot guarantee results.” We cannot check any testimonial's figures, and nothing in this review suggests you will earn a set amount. Treat the software as a tool whose results depend on your offer, traffic and work, which is what ClickFunnels' Terms say too.

The checkout uses the same urgency. Its add-on for 20+ ready-made funnels is labelled “ONE TIME OFFER” and says “( Offer not available at ANY other time or place )”. That is a sales technique; weigh the add-on on its own merits, separately from the plan.

Answer five questions.
Yes: start with a free plan elsewhere, such as Systeme.io's (see section 19), or a 7-day ClickFunnels trial with a reminder set for day 5.
Yes: Launch at $970 a year or $97 a month.
Yes: Scale at $1,970 a year or $197 a month; it is far cheaper per contact than Launch.
Yes: compare Kajabi, which includes unlimited email sends and a branded app on its top plan, before you choose.
Yes: compare HighLevel's unlimited contacts and sub-accounts with ClickFunnels' Agency App. Otherwise: pay monthly first, keep a calendar note 10 days before each renewal, and export contacts regularly.
A drag-and-drop page editor, a checkout built for order bumps and upsells, and now an assistant that drafts the whole funnel.
The funnel is the unit ClickFunnels sells. You pick a funnel type, such as an opt-in funnel, a sales page with checkout, or a webinar registration, then edit each step in the ClickFunnels Editor, a drag-and-drop page builder with templates. The Smart Checkout handles one-click upsells and order bumps, the small add-on offers shown before payment, and ClickFunnels' own checkout uses the same pattern. Workflows send email, tag contacts and enrol buyers in courses, and A/B testing works on pages and emails.

ClickFunnels Tutorial for Beginners: official video from the ClickFunnels Help YouTube channel (@ClickFunnelsHelp), embedded in the help center's Getting Started article and on its home page, published Nov 22, 2024, 25 minutes 53 seconds.
Build with AI is the largest of the 2026 additions in ClickFunnels' help center. Its help article, published Jun 16, 2026 and updated Sep 16, 2026, describes an assistant that “researches your market, designs your pages, writes your copy, generates images, and builds a complete funnel for you”. Quick mode builds from a short description; Research mode first looks at your niche, ideal customer and comparable brands and recommends a funnel type. You then refine pages by asking, and you can revert to an earlier version. Team admins have it automatically; other members need an AI User role. Usage draws on an allowance that the help article says “refreshes on a regular cycle”, without stating the size; the pricing page lists AI tools from 1M words on Launch to 10M on Dominate. The Terms separately describe an older AI writing tool, Marketing.ai, as “an incorporated beta-stage tool”, and warn that AI output “may not be unique across all users”.

From offer to first sale on Launch, in five steps.
The apps around the funnel replace several separate tools, with limits that grow by plan.
ClickFunnels' app pages label most apps, including courses, email, automations, Message Hub and Payments AI, as “Included for free in every plan”. The Countdown Funnels page is the exception: “Included in Scale, Optimize, and Dominate plans.” The help center's tier list adds Conversion Boosters from Scale. What you get on every plan is the core of a small online business: email with templates and split-tested subject lines, courses with templates, progress tracking, certificates and scheduled releases, and workflows that react to opt-ins and purchases.
| App | What it does | Plan limits |

An MCP server for any active account, the API and webhooks from Scale, and a separate Agency Plan for client workspaces.
| Integration | Plans | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ClickFunnels MCP Server | Any active account with admin access to a workspace | Claude, ChatGPT, n8n and other clients; full, read-only or per-category access; reconnect about every 90 days |
| API and webhooks | Scale and up | Public developer API; webhooks fire on sales, opt-ins and other events |
| Zapier and native integrations | All plans | ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Constant Contact, ConvertKit and others listed on the integrations page |
| Payments AI, Stripe, PayPal | All plans | PayPal only through Payments AI; Coinbase and Klarna not usable in the ClickFunnels checkout; one currency per workspace; direct Stripe on request |
| Agency App | Agency Plan (price not on the pricing page) | Up to 50 client workspaces; agency handles billing; API access included |
| Single sign-on | Dominate | Not on lower plans |
From ClickFunnels' help center articles on the MCP Server, Payments AI and the Agency App, and the pricing and integrations pages, Oct 26, 2026.
For anyone already working in an AI assistant, the MCP server is the addition to look at first. Its help article, updated Sep 16, 2026, says the assistant can build funnels and pages, manage contacts and tags, set up products and checkout, create courses, edit sites and blogs, and track deals. Access is tied to the person who authorizes it, covers only workspaces they administer, and can be set to “Read only” or granted area by area. The article is frank about the risk of a wrong workspace: “it’s worth confirming which workspace your assistant is in before you have it delete or overwrite anything”. A legacy connector still works but lacks the new tools. Our Claude MCP connectors guide explains what such connections can and cannot do in practice.

2FA, a data processing addendum and US hosting; no public security certification that we found, and sub-processors only on request.
| Area | What ClickFunnels states | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Company and law | Etison LLC, Canton, Georgia; Idaho law; arbitration in Ada County, Idaho | Class actions waived; claims within 1 year |
| Account security | Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app; prompted daily until enabled once live payments are set up | 2FA is off until you turn it on |
| Certifications | Privacy policy describes a security program and incident response | No SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certificate on the pages listed in our evidence section |
| Where data lives | DPA: end-user data stored on ClickFunnels' systems is transferred to the United States | EU sellers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses in the DPA |
| Sub-processors | DPA: a list of sub-processors is provided upon request | No public list to review before signing up |
| Your customers' data | Terms ban uploading card data, passwords, ID numbers and health or financial details into contact lists | Keep sensitive data in your payment processor, not in custom fields |
| Beta features | Terms: users of beta-stage sites “ASSUME THE FULL RISK OF ANY DATA BREACHES” | Check whether an AI or new feature is labelled beta before using it with customer data |
| AI and your content | No statement found on whether Build with AI prompts or outputs train models | Ask before pasting confidential material |

One older note for anyone still on ClickFunnels Classic with WordPress: the ClickFunnels WordPress plugin was closed on WordPress.org on Mar 14, 2023, with the reason given as a security issue. The current platform does not use it; its help center documents connecting custom domains directly.
Work pattern, fit and likely plan.
Good fit. Launch for one offer and a list under 10,000; pages, checkout, upsells, email and courses in one login.
Good fit on Scale: API and webhooks for ad and analytics tools, 75K contacts, five brands.
Fit. The MCP server lets an assistant build and edit funnels, with read-only or per-area access.
Weak fit. $97 a month before your first sale; Systeme.io has a free plan and a $17 tier.
Mixed. The Agency App caps client workspaces at 50 and its price is not public; HighLevel's Unlimited plan is $297 a month with unlimited sub-accounts.
Check first. One currency per workspace, PayPal only through Payments AI, and a G2 reviewer flags few Latin American gateways.
Eight real drawbacks.
The visible trial buttons give 7 days; the help center promises 14. Cancel 24 hours before the end.
A 30-day guarantee on the pricing page; the Terms say no refunds on monthly plans and only a credit on yearly ones.
Cancel late and you may pay another month; billing continues until every step is done.
1 workspace, 2 seats and 10,000 contacts, where June 2025's $97 plan had 3, 3 and unlimited.
The final button deletes all content; the $17-a-month Pause plan keeps it stored but offline.
$9.70 per 1,000 contacts a month, about 3.7 times Scale's rate.
No native webinars or lesson drip, both among the top requests on the feedback board.
Large-result testimonials and a 5-day challenge headline, against Terms that make no earnings claims.
Systeme.io, Kajabi and HighLevel, priced on the same day.
All prices from each vendor's own pricing page on Oct 26, 2026, in US dollars, viewed from Vietnam. Each counts limits differently (contacts, sub-accounts, sends), so compare the limit you will hit first, not just the headline price.

| Need | Tool and plan | Price a month | Main limit | Trial or free plan | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Funnels, upsells and email in one | ClickFunnels Launch | $97, or $81 billed yearly | 10K contacts, 1 workspace, 50K emails | 7- or 14-day trial with a card | Your offer works and you want ClickFunnels' checkout and upsell flow |
| Lowest cost to start, in this table | Systeme.io Free, Startup or Webinar | $0, $17 or $47 on monthly billing | 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 contacts; 3, 10 or 50 funnels | Free plan, no card | You are testing an offer or need evergreen webinars cheaply |
| Courses, community and a branded app | Kajabi Basic | $179, or $143 billed yearly | 2,500 contacts, unlimited email sends | 14 days free, 30-day money-back guarantee | Your product is a course, coaching or membership business |
| Agencies and unlimited contacts | HighLevel Starter | $97 | 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and users; usage-based charges for email, SMS and AI | 14-day trial | You run several client accounts or need calling, SMS and reputation tools |
| Agency scale | HighLevel Unlimited | $297 | Unlimited sub-accounts, basic API | 14-day trial | You need many client workspaces without a 50-workspace cap |
The pattern: among the tools priced here, Systeme.io is the cheapest way in and the only one with a free plan; Kajabi costs more but includes unlimited email sends and puts courses and community first; HighLevel matches ClickFunnels' $97 entry price with unlimited contacts and users, though email, SMS and AI are billed by usage on top. ClickFunnels sits between them, with the checkout and upsell flow it is known for and, since 2026, an AI builder and an MCP server; Kajabi and Leadpages also advertise MCP connectors on their pricing pages. Leadpages is narrower, a landing page builder with A/B testing rather than a full funnel platform, and on Oct 26, 2026 its pricing page, with monthly billing selected, showed plans from $25 to $100 a month under a headline saying plans start at $49, so check its current offer. JAVIS has not yet reviewed Systeme.io, Kajabi, HighLevel or Leadpages.

Questions people ask before committing
How much does ClickFunnels cost in 2026?
Per clickfunnels.com/pricing on Oct 26, 2026: Launch $97, Scale $197 and Optimize $297 a month, or $970, $1,970 and $2,970 a year. Dominate costs $5,997 a year and has no monthly option. Card processing fees are extra.
Is there a free plan or free trial?
No free plan. Launch, Scale and Optimize have a free trial that needs a card: 7 days through the trial buttons on the home and pricing pages, while the help center and the pricing page's description say 14 days. Dominate's checkout shows $5,997 a year with no trial.
Can I get a refund?
The pricing page and checkout advertise a 30-day money-back guarantee. The Terms of Service say monthly subscribers are not entitled to any refund and yearly subscribers who cancel early get a credit, not a refund. Ask support to confirm the guarantee in writing before you rely on it.
How do I cancel, and when?
From Workspace Settings, Billing, then Manage Subscription and Cancel Subscription, through to the final confirmation. The Terms ask for at least 10 days' notice before a monthly renewal, or 24 hours before a trial ends. The last step deletes your content, so export contacts first.
Does ClickFunnels take a cut of my sales?
No, per its pricing FAQ. You pay your payment processor's fees, such as Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢ per US card payment.
Can I keep my old Basic, Pro or Funnel Hacker plan?
Yes, according to the help center: legacy plans are grandfathered with their limits, but you cannot return to them once you upgrade or downgrade. ClickFunnels Classic is a separate platform, and its funnels cannot be moved to the current one.
Does ClickFunnels work with Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. The ClickFunnels MCP Server, documented since Feb 13, 2026, connects Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients to the workspaces you administer, with full, read-only or per-area access.

JAVIS Fit Score (56/100): an editorial composite scored out of 20 on five criteria. Price clarity 9: prices and limits are published, but two trial lengths, a refund promise that the Terms do not contain, and a “Limited Time” label running since 2025 make the real offer harder to read. Capability 16: funnels, checkout with upsells, email, courses, CRM, automations, an AI builder, an MCP server and an API cover most of what a small online business needs, with gaps such as native webinars. Independent evidence 12: 4.6 from 417 G2 reviews and 4.5 from 666 GetApp reviews, both in archived copies, with some incentivized reviews and a seller-claimed G2 profile, plus a public wish list; few community sources. Terms, data and security 8: no refunds in the Terms, 10-day notice, ongoing billing until every step is done, content deleted on cancel, mandatory arbitration, US data transfer and sub-processors only on request, against 2FA and a DPA. Cost and fit 11: competitive at Scale per contact, expensive at Launch, and dearer to start than Systeme.io. It is judgment, not a measurement.
